INOVATYVIŲ GAMINIŲ KŪRIMAS
Projekto tikslas - sukurti pašarus gyvūnams, pagamintus tik iš perdirbtų sudedamųjų dalių, taikant džiovinimo oru technologiją ir naudojant tik šaldytą mėsą, surinktą iš žmonių pramonės.
Sprendžiamos problemos. Pareiškėjas planuoja gaminti evoliucinį naują šunų maistą, kuris pakeistų sąlygas naminių gyvūnėlių ėdalo pramonėje. Naujos žinios, kurias norima įgyti įgyvendinant šį projektą, yra susijusios su gyvūnų augintinių ėdalo, pagaminto tik iš 100 % perdirbtų ingredientų, kūrimu. Nors perdirbimas yra įvairiose pramonės šakose taikomas procesas, kuriuo siekiama sumažinti atliekų kiekį ir sukurti vertę iš medžiagų, kurios kitu atveju būtų išmestos, mokslinių tyrimų apie perdirbtų ingredientų naudojimą gyvūnų augintinių maiste yra nedaug. Be iššūkių, susijusių su perdirbtomis sudedamosiomis dalimis, taip pat kyla mokslinių ir technologinių problemų, susijusių su maistinių medžiagų ir fermentų išsaugojimu gyvūnų augintinių ėdaluose. Šiame projekte naudojant džiovinimo oru technologiją siekiama išspręsti šią problemą, švelniai pašalinant drėgmę iš ingredientų žemoje temperatūroje, o tai gali padėti išsaugoti maistingąsias medžiagas ir fermentus.
Projektas prisidės prie naujo didelės pridėtinės vertės produkto kūrimo, o mokslininkai galės dalyvauti įmonės mokslinių tyrimų ir eksperimentinės plėtros veikloje.
Rezultatas. Rinkai parengti iš 100 % perdirbtų ingredientų visaverčiai šunų ėdalai ir šunų skanėstai.

Project Objective
The goal of the project is to develop pet food made exclusively from recycled ingredients, using air-drying technology and only frozen meat sourced from the human food industry.
Problems Addressed
The applicant plans to produce an evolutionary new type of dog food that would transform the conditions within the pet food industry. The new knowledge to be gained through the implementation of this project relates to the development of pet food made entirely from 100% recycled ingredients. While recycling is a process applied in various industries to reduce waste and create value from materials that would otherwise be discarded, there is little scientific research on the use of recycled ingredients in pet food. In addition to challenges associated with recycled components, there are also scientific and technological issues related to preserving nutrients and enzymes in pet food. This project aims to address these challenges by using air-drying technology to gently remove moisture from the ingredients at low temperatures, which can help preserve nutrients and enzymes.
Impact
The project will contribute to the creation of a new high value-added product, and scientists will have the opportunity to participate in the company’s research and experimental development activities.
Outcome
Complete dog food and dog treats made from 100% recycled ingredients prepared for the market.
